About Me
After years of teaching high school history, I embraced the advice I often gave my students—to wholeheartedly pursue their dreams—and earned an MFA in screenwriting. This decision opened the door to an exciting and varied career. From directing talented actors in educational videos to developing engaging curriculum, I’ve had the privilege of working on a wide range of impactful projects. One of my most meaningful experiences was contributing to Citizens at Last, a PBS documentary on the Texas suffragist movement, where I merged my love of storytelling with history.
At the core of everything I do is a commitment to creating clear, engaging, and accessible content that helps people acquire the knowledge they need. Whether it’s professional development, technical training, or educational content, I believe in the power of effective communication to open doors and create opportunities. Today’s technology allows us to share information more easily than ever, and I’m passionate about working with creative partners who are equally dedicated to making that information accessible, especially to those who are often underserved.
